Thanks Kay. Bumping up to see if anyone else has had this issue. I did call the vet and she said if he continues to lick his paws after a couple more days to bring him in because licking their paws could also be a sign of thyroid issues. I was told to give him benadryl (1/2 pill) every 8 hours. She said I could use a hydrocortizone spray but he'd probably just lick it off as well. Thought I would share what the vet said in case anyone else has a dog that licks their paws a lot. My husband said Toby didn't lick hardly at all today so maybe it's just his normal hyper energy that is making him do it too. But I will definitely keep an eye on him.
