The problem with Petco and Petsmart training is that the service you get varies greatly based on the quality of the individual trainer. The best thing to do is meet and talk with the trainer, and observe them before making a decision. Its impossible to make a general statement about their trainers.
I had one terrible experience at Petsmart with a trainer and had to pull my dog out of the class, then I had another amazing experience there with a different trainer. She had yorkies of her own, knew the breed, and was a pleasure to work with, we had fun and learned a lot.
Hopefully you will get a great trainer and all will go well for you.
One question though... how do they housebreak them at Petco?
