OMG! My family raced pigeons when I was growning. My grandfather had a pigeon coup in their backyard. I remember how they would take them out, clock them and then watch when they came back from the race. Now my cousin who is around your age and his dad (my uncle) still race pigeons. I will guarantee they knew each other.
Taking a shotgun on the Mag Mile would cause just a little concern.
