WOW!! If you are from Chicago, how does your pup have a father from so far away? That doesn't sound right....along with some other things as you already know. That is a very tiny Yorkie and I would be afraid of giving any unnecessary medication. Your vet is already treating her, maybe you should see if that works first. If you aren't comfortable that your vet is concerned enough, take the pup to a different one. I have no experience in kennel cough (thank goodness!), but I do hear that it takes a while to go away. The vaporizer does sound like a good idea....why don't you ask your vet what she thinks of using that to help your puppy? I hope she gets better quickly.
