I had a stud service bitch bolt out the door early one morning. She was no where in sight and then heard the door open as I was simply getting the newspaper off the step...out she went. Flew across the road, car barely missing her. I had my night gown on and no shoes..there was no time to get dressed. My worst nightmare was to lose someones dog or have it killed.
Yes, I ran after her in my night gown..across every wet lawn on the block. As I bend down to grab her I slipped in the wet grass, fell, gown over head, no underwear, several cars blew their horns...BUT I caught her...I swear I would have run down the street naked to catch someones Yorkie in my care...needless to say I had to go home and lay down!! |
