Obedience classes are fun and open up a whole new world of possibilities. Besides helpful sits and stays, etc., you learn how to teach. Then you can start on tricks and games. If there are any "Nose Work" classes in your area, those are worth checking out too. Dogs learn the game of finding scents with their nose, and you can entertain them for hours just finding hidden treats or scents around the house.
