Hello my YT family! I was at our pet store getting baby girl a refill on food (our vet was closed), and I ran into some people from a local no kill shelter here called CARA. Unfortunately, they are one of the only no kill shelters in the area.
The lady was telling me about something Pepsi is doing..their refresh project..in which they are awarding grants to people and organizations. She said they had applied for a $50,000 grant for new kennels, bowls, beds, and what not. During this month they are eligible for 2 grants, but they have to be ranked in the top 10..right now they are 57th. The website you can look at their information and vote for them is
REFRESH CARA Home. I don't usually ask people to do this kind of thing, but this broke my heart. I do not think I will ever be able to understand how people can be so cruel to animals.
