Put him in a crate, in a stroller closed up, in a x-pen or my favorit in your arms.
Some with very little moving space so he does not run or jump and don't forget to take him out to use the restroom.
I think they can eat Jell-O but I don't know how much or if feeding just that is good. I gave my boy his regular can food.
