Hi,
I live in Albany, New York and would like to find one or more quality breeders not more than four hours away from our home. I've already gotten some leads from the Yorkshire Terrier Club of Greater New York, but so far I haven't been able to locate a female puppy.

I am looking for a small female dog, about 4 pounds, that has been raised in a family setting where the puppy has been socialized. The dog is to be a present for my 20-year old daughter and would need to be ready for adoption mid-January.

Our family has owned a wonderful cairn terrier, Madison, (or should I say she has owned us for the last seven years) and so my daughter has had lots of experience with a dog.

If someone online has any suggestions, I would very much appreciate a reply.
