I'm not sure if you can see from the outside whether or not they are swollen but you can tell when you.. well go in and feel on the right and left sides. Our poor TA's get soo big so fast and you know when shes sick! My mom usually has the groomer do it but we had her hair cut and apparently they 'forgot' to do it and didn't tell us. So the poor girl was acting sooo sick and in pain but we couldn't work out what was wrong so we rushed her to the vet and they took her in the back, then brought her back out and she was whole other dog! All smiles and tail wagging!
