Thanks for your responses and honesty. I too felt an immediate bond with the dogs I have had in the past and it just was not there today. I was happy that Rocky did not show any aggressiveness towards him, but I didn't feel that he was interested, either. He just wanted me. He is my little old man and perhaps he enjoys being the one getting all the attention since he has now adjusted to being the only one. It's hard to make a quick decision about this kind of thing and of course, because this is an older dog, I think I am somewhat apprehensive about that. As much as I want to help another dog, I will have to give this some more thought. I guess I am afraid nobody else will be willing to take him and I feel bad for him. Thanks, again.
