I don't think it is fair to say this only about college students. I have adult friends who go through pets (cats, dogs, birds) like they do underwear.

I have to agree with Britster and say that it a very bold statement to say "it is not possible" because that means it cannot happen.

I am a 23-year-old college student, own my own home and am married. I would have to say that my life is far more balanced than most adults I know and I take offense to the generalization of all college students.
