How did he do with your poodle when he was alive? Did he play with him or ignore him? It's hard to gauge based on one visit in a strange place how he would do at home in a more relaxed atmosphere.
More concerning to me would be that you didn't feel an immediate bond with the dog. Maybe your gut is telling you that either this isn't the right dog for your family or that you aren't quite ready for another yet. |
