Unless you or one of your loved ones have ever been brutally attacked by a dog you will never understand where she is coming from. My son and I were attacked last october by two 5 month old pitt bulls and though I have never called pitts "God's Mistakes" I can totally sympathize with her statement. I own 4 dogs, at the time 5 (a pitt bull) though my pitt did not attack, I could no longer find it in my heart to trust him. There is no other breed that I fear like bull dogs and though I am an animal lover I could care less what happens to the bull dog breed. If I happen to cross a pitts path I have full blown panic attacks. Everyday I see the scars (9 on my son & 5 on me) and I am forced to relive the brutality of the attacks. Her statement does not show ignorance, it shows fear.
