I was no way attempting to be rude, but doing a bit of scolding. I do detest unsuspecting newbies taken advantage of by disreputable breeders.
There are what are called stickies at listed in every section. There are a few on how to pick your breeder, your pup. The first rule of thumb is you buy your breeder first, then your pup. If you don't feel comfortable with your breeder, leave. I don't care how cute that pup is, cause all pups are cute. A reputable breeder is one that is there for you 7x24 and stands by their breeding.
But, again let me reiterate, this horrible breeder you bought your pup from is responsible for your pups vet bills and that is per California Law.
I hope once you get this settled you reveal who the breeder was so, that no one else has to go through what you're going through.
Use this site to your advantage, ask questions, when need be. But, you did the right thing, you got your baby to the vet. Coccidia is common and may have not reared it's ugly head, had the pup not been removed from it's mom at such a young age.
