I'm interested to see what answers you get. My Charlie, 5 months doesn't seem to like men. She's okay with my own two boys, loves them. My dad, who lives with us, she doesn't care for. If he comes into my room, he barks, and barks, and barks, and then runs under the bed. Mind you, my dad loves animals, and kids and animals nearly always take to him.
He loves me and is my shadow. Same with my 12 year old daughter. He loves my 18 year old daughter, though not quite as much. Any of the 18-year old's male friends, though, he barks at, though he hasn't bitten any. He did bite my ex-husband, though, and it was not a little nip either.
We got him at 12 weeks, and to my knowledge he has no reason to dislike men. Do some dogs just not like a particular gender? Other than that, Charlie is a little love. Best little puppy you could ask for. |
