Default Bolter

You mean that sweet angel in your avatar doesn't listen to you? LOL\

"Bolters" can be so hard to change..I have worked with a few I boarded, but never trusted them not to run off..I was afraid to test them out with the door open.
I put up a movable folding gate across the front hall area..I have tried the long leash method. You put a long clothes line rope on the collar..about 20ft. Act normal, then walk to the door and open it..most will bolt out and the rope stops them of course..a few learned to stop and look at me..but I still do not trust them not to run off if a visitor opened the door or my husband..only takes one car in the street..so I never took a chance..good luck.
