Ann, I am so very sorry for you and your husband. What a dreadfully painful and scary episode. It sounds like you kept your "level professional head" during the event and did all of the right things. Your hubby is so very lucky to have you.
It is amazing the strength we have in true emergencies and the ability to overcome obstacles. What a fantastic idea to have hubby lay down on the blanket so you could pull him to the garage. Please be sure to check your shoes before you put them on and shake out all clothing.
