When I took Lily for her rabies shot....My vet suggested that I microchip when we do the spay. He also said he would be doing blood work..before he would put her under, because he would be more comfortable with that, and it was safer for her. He also said that he wanted to wait till she was a year old so that she was a little bigger she was only 3lbs 10oz last visit.
