I agree. They can dehydrate so quickly from vomiting and diarrhea. Lady had an episode a few years ago that "only" lasted 24 hours, but the next day she still wasn't eating and was lethargic. It was a Sunday so I debated waiting until morning since she hadn't vomited or had diarrhea since the day before. I decided not to take the chance. I took her to the ER vet and am so glad I did! Her electrolytes were so out of whack the vet told me she was in danger of cardiac arrest. Dehydration is just so serious in toy breeds.
