3 days after probably not hot dog as usually it is within a 12 -24 hr time period for it to trigger but anything is possible.
Best to restrict food for 12 hrs if you think pancreatitis. Also hold up water until vomitting stops then slowly give them some and do not let them gulp the water as gulping will make them vomit it up. I usually will give little bits at a time with my finger but only after all vomitting has stopped. You have to stop the vomitting cycle to let the tummy rest.
First they vomit food, then bile then white foam. What is he vomitting up now? |
Louis weighs 6lbs,. 8 ozs., I am sure he has lost a little weight since all of this. Louis is definitely tossing and turning. He will be laying in one spot, and then get up to go lay in another spot. I feel so bad for him. He has started following me around a little. I am trying not to get up much, so he doesn't have to get up. He is vomiting a yellow/orange color and it has a foul odor. I am going to take him to the vet first thing in the morning if he is still sick. I will put up all food/water until tomorrow. Thanks for all of the advice.
