I think a year apart is a great idea! My Mia is 4 and Max is 3.

I like having a boy and a girl because they are so different while being so alike! We just try to make sure that we keep the pack order the way we got them. Like Mia gets her treat first, then Max. Good Luck and post pictures when you get one.
