Being in Texas I would give heartguard year-around. I am in Alabama and I do. We have the occasional warm weather and what happens???? The insects come out!!!!

It isn't worth the risk to me. It cost less than $5.00 a month for protection, so why wouldn't you????

Muffin's Mom how old is your babe???? You may have to have a blood test now to begin the treatment !!!
