That's some very good information and advice to look into. I do like the appearance of erect ears. I also didn't like floppy ears because of lack of air flow inside the canal which could lead to problems. I know keeping the hair trimmed would help.
If I get a yorkie with floppy ears as a puppy, I'll consider the options, but just as I started to type something came to me...
I think if the ears ended up being floppy, that's the way it rolls out and I could live with it. Seeing yorkies with floppy ears makes them no less cute to look at!
