That is hysterical! I don't necessarily enjoy picking up poop, but it's really not all that difficult, no matter the size of the dog.
You keep a baggie holder on the leash, pull one out when you need it, and pick it up! The only thing I never liked was being stranded with a full bag while looking for the nearest trash can, but I found this thing that holds it for you at a Pet Expo:
