My Lexie has sooo much hair she used to get the knot tangles, using a conditioner helps make them easy to undo. I have tried the expensive conditioners... but the one that works the best for her hair is mane and tail.
When Lexie was growing out the puppy hair I would use frizzease for humans to remove tangles. I would wet my fingers, take a dab of frizzease between my fingers then apply it to the knot, works great. I've also used it for my grand daughters barbie's hair, makes it look like new hair
