1. Could I get the pro's and cons of micro chips? Im checking on the cost this week. Ive read some things and in all honesty Im not sure if I want to do this. Im wondering from experienced breeders if you micro chip the pups?

2. I have two years to learn EVERYTHING I can about breeding. The breeder Im getting my girl from is going to include me in her next few litters for experience. I am learning how to groom, etc from a professional groomer. Yes my first girl is from a fabulous back ground and both parents are healthy. Of course she will be totally checked over for any possbile genetic defects before breeding. I also would like to start gathering names/websites of "studs".

Also PLEASE let me know of any that are not "up to par".

I would like to know of books, websites and anything else you can suggest. Yes I know that its not easy etc. etc etc. BUT, everyone has to start somewhere. My husband will be retiring in three years and we will be moving to a 145 acre land plot. Our plans include a kennel for the larger dogs with a grooming station. We plan on breeding yorkies and labs. So any advice would be appreciated from experienced breeders and owners .

**Please do not try to change my mind . You can give your opinion and I appreciate the concern but we have been planning this for several years. I am not going into this blindly I will not do this until I feel comfortable.
