My malt will sometimes do it at night while sleeping she will wake up and reverse sneeze. I was afraid as it always happens at night while sleeping but vet said coughing in the middle of night is of worry as that is tied to heart probs and her heart is fine. I think it is maybe acid reflux which triggers it maybe.
