I sent a letter, too. It's a sad day when we need a law to prevent this sort of thing. In many ways this is an ultimate cruelty.......saving a dog and nursing it back to health, only to kill it while others that are qualified and willing to care for her are forced to helplessly watch.....powerless to prevent this senseless killing. Sounds more than a little sadistic....
