Not all ears are going to stand.
The best way to deal with floppy ears is trimming the hair and doing massages and if needed taping. Sometimes you can add yogurt to their feedings around teething time to help replace the calcium they use to build their teeth.
In some cases you will see ears flop well into the 3rd month. I had to keep my little guys ears shaved weekly and massage 2 times a day for several weeks to get them to stand. Im not sure I could of done the taping myself. Not that I don't believe in it, I just am not talented enough to hold a dog and tape at the same time...
Either way I've seen some great photos of floppy and standing eared yorkies. I personally think those with floppy ears have serious personality to go with the ears. They always make me smile with out fail.
