the owners knew it was time to bring her in for a chest tap when she couldn't lay down and sleep. laying down on her side made it hard to breath. she figured out tho, that if she slept next to the bottom step of the staircase it would prop her up so she could sleep and breath. very sad. that sheltie was such a good dog. it was heartbreaking to see her having trouble breathing. |
hi...thanks for our thread...its very interesting what you have wrote, and noted with interest....its been a few hours since i typed my last post,and since then Stella is beginning to have the breathing problems again....not as bad as last night... but its coming back again.... she goes to the vet in the morning, i think he will drain her again as she seems to be getting a bit fatter again......i dont think its fair on her to go through all this yet again... and from what you have written...looks like she will be going through this for a long time.......im going to see what the vet thinks.... but i just wouldnt want her to suffer anymore after all she has been through... it is heartbreaking to see her having this trouble breathing again this evening... poor soul....
