Question Question: Floppy Ears On Puppy

Hello,

At some point in the future I'll be on the lookout for another Yorkie. While looking around recently I saw a picture of a 9 week old and saw that it's ears were floppy.(more flop than erect)

My question is:

Are floppy ears at age 9 weeks an indication of how the ears will be when it's an adult?

Are there statistics about this sort of thing? The floppiness is more pronounced and with my inexperience, I'd be guessing that at adulthood they would still be the same... or maybe a little more erect, but still with some floppiness.

What are the chances the ears will be fully erect?

Just curious.

Thanks,

Matthias
