I set out a plate for the 4 furbutts right next to dh's. It had 8 tiny pieces of lean pork chop and 4 small pieces of green bean. Dh laughed (like aw isn't that cute) when I told him it was for the pooches and please don't give them anything else. By the time I got back to the table with my own plate he had given every piece to them and they were crowded around him begging for more! Of COURSE he gave them more! At least he didn't give them any mashed potatoes. Grrrrrrr

My dad is the same way.... he & his wife have 2 doggies over there, and I bring Jackson often. Jackson doesn't beg from me when we're over there, he's ALL over my dad. All 3 are the worst beggars in the world thanks to my dad!
Their dogs are overweight as well (not overly). I'm not gonna lie-- I give Jackson people food too but I limit it to really small pieces. Every weekend we go to a restaurant called Noodles and he gets like 1 or 2 noodles from my mac&cheese there.
