Just got back from the Animal Hospital with Carlo. He got his 4th Chemo shot and a complete blood work up. The big guy is doing outstanding. Blood work looks good, exam looks great, and he is handling the Chemo and Prednisone real well. He also got a B-12 shot and he gained 3 more pounds since last week. He is almost back to his normal weight prior to his surgery and the Chemo.
Now he starts on one Chemo shot every other week. However, he still will need to go in for a blood test weekly. Next week he also will get an X-Ray and an Ultra Sound done. Everyone at the Hospital has fallen in love with the big goof. |
