Default Litterbox training

My Tucker was litter trained when I got him at 10 weeks and did well for a
while when I had him in a playpen during the day but within a week he had
learned to climb out of that so came the baby gate - he chewed through the
plastic mesh to roam my bedroom all day. It has taken patience and lots of praise and cookies but just yesterday I came home to find NO PEE PEE accidents on the carpet YAY! I told him how good he had been for this and I swear he understood since I'm always saying "pee pee in potty box- Good Boy". He still doesn't poop in it though so we're working on that one. I was really excited by this option since I once lost a Yorkie who snuck through a gate my Dad forgot to close and was killed by a car. The only time I want him outside is on a leash when we're going somewhere or in a fence with me watching him like a hawk and watching for hawks!
