That's actually really helpful. I'm having trouble currently with my little one barking in his cage at night when we go to bed. We've gotten in the routine where he falls asleep with me and I slowly get him comfortable in his cage. If he wakes up though and recognizes he's in his cage he starts to whine and bark pretty much until I give in and try to calm him down. I have his cage set up so he can see me at night but I think that makes it worse. Last night I actually slept on the floor next to his cage because that was the only thing that seemed to calm him down and help him fall asleep. What did you all do when your pups were babies?? |
