I got Jackson at 9 weeks old and it was cold in December but I began potty training on the 2nd day he was home w/ strictly outdoors. No real walks in neighborhoods or anything. When he was young, I would just let him off leash (we live on 3 acres) because he would stay close but as he got older... I had to leash him.
