Thanks everyone. All very helpful. I think I will at least wait until she is at least two pounds. The frontline heartgard is what came in her puppy kit but I was worried that it said up to 25 lbs. It just seems that she shouldn't take a dose that large when she doesn't even weigh 2 lbs yet. She goes for her 2nd puppy shots next week so I can wait and see what she weighs then. She is inside most of the time except to potty at this point. Didn't want to take any chances until her next set of puppy shots.
