I actually just bought nutrical today and got it at petsmart in the vitamin section. I DO have a question about it though, should I give him some every day for preventative reasons or only in emergencies? I know karo syrup is used for emergencies which I have on hand but the directions on the nutrical bottle says I can give him some everyday. What do you all do?

Also, I feed my puppy Eukonuba. Thats what his breeder started him with and he seems to really like it. My vet also said that its really great for them, a lil more expensive than other brands of food but only the best for my Oliver!!
Only give it in an emergency or if the dog is under the weather. Giving all the time can cause sugar problems. The whole key to a getting a dog not to get hypoglycemia is to keep him eating regularly and not to wear them out. Nutrical just spikes the sugar and when they come dowsn from that they still need protein from food to keep them going
