I don't sanitize anything, other then normal bowl washing. (I'm lazy to be honest, I just have two bowls and swap.) The only thing you do have to remember is that you obviously can't leave it out.

You could mix it in with dry food, but its balanced all by itself, you just add the warm water - let it soak and then scoop it out. (I always use excess water but thats just me, Winston inhales his food so when its thinner he has to slow down.)

I feed Winston keen (and sometimes verve), but do keep in mind that unlike whats listed on your link - its not gluten free... but low gluten. Their no gluten food is the thrive, which has a more unique and watery texture. (Winston is not fond of it so its been sitting around here for a while.)
