No not at all! That is called prey model raw.
Just make sure you are doing it right. They need to be fed 80% meat, 10% bones, and 10% organs (5% that is liver).
There is a fabulous yahoo group that I would join if you are going to feed prey model raw. There is a wealth of information in the archives and the people are helpful- sometimes a little say it like it is- but still very helpful.
