I'd say Mrs. Mayfield not only has to worry about foxes, hawks and coyotes, but neighbors too! How could you ever trust to let your dog out unsupervised again? I'd be afraid those jerks would try again to get my dog. And the nerve to try to keep the dog when they KNEW she wasn't theirs but Mrs. Mayfields. I'm as outraged as you are!
