Hi everyone -

I need some advice from knowledgeable yorkie/doggie owners!
About a week ago, Pilot developed scab like things on his neck under his ear. We took him to the vet and she stated she wasn't sure what it was and she wanted to run a few tests. (She checked for ringworm's and parasites -both tests were negative.)

Two days later his scabs have spread to the top of his head, on his foreleg, and in his beard area. He has started scratching his entire body and more specifically the scabs. We took Pilot back to the vet this morning and she stated that she thinks its seborrhea. I'm not too positive that it is seborrhea since I'm not sure if its common in yorkies, as I have never heard it being common, nor do I know/seen any dogs with this disorder.

Do any yorkies out there have seborrhea? What are their symptoms? How did your vet/you diagnose this disorder?
