I would not do it if i were you
a friend did grizzly salmon oil and it set her dogs pancreatitis off again
I do not risk any supplements with dex. DD i proceed with caution and doing coconut oil only as coconut oil does not affect the pancreas like the others - something with the way the body processes it because it is a medium chain fatty acid but I still would not do it with dex so your fears are warranted. Trust your gut. Pancreas is no fun at all when it goes out of whack not to mention deadly
