If it was fungal, I don't think flagyl would have stopped the infection, I think flagyl is for bacteria, I think. then again why did it stop for a day or two, start again, then after the tums completely stop. almost like the low calcium had something to due with producing loose stools. It sounds whacked but that's what it seems. or maybe the flagyl needed time to kill the stuff off and it's just a coincidence that it stopped after the tums.
