he gained alot of wt. since the collapsed trachea issues. he gets carried 1/2 the time of our walks. so he was steady weighing in at 8lbs. I went grain free for almost a year, if not longer. He only had a bout of diarrhea 1x in 7 years, and that was when I was away and my daughter stayed home and watched him, he actually had blood in his stool and she rushed him to the vet, I think he was on pepcid and something else for a week, then it was over, that was 3 years ago. So he either lost 1 lb. in the whole year of the food switch, or he lost 1lb. in 2 weeks? He really didn't have any decrease of appetite since this diarrhea thing, he's always ready for dinner and treats, he's looking at the microwave now!!! He's not resting like a few days ago, he's sitting perfectly alert, waiting for something, gee I hope it's not dementia!
