I have been curious about the same thing with my little yorkie.
Only time will tell I guess.
I can see as her hair has been growing on her head it is really silky feeling and looking. Hoping the rest of her body will be like this.
The hair on her body is starting to grow more. And I see more the steely grey fur growing.
I know right now, with the puppy coat, it is more prone to tangles/matts. So, I brush Princess several times per day. And use a comb to work thru any teeny tiny tangles that appear from where her harness rubs.
I have found a shampoo and conditioner that has silk fibers in it that should help with any tangles. I also have bought a conditioning spray that I use when I brush her.
I found a bathing mitt that I am also using at bath time to help keep the tangles out.
How long does it take for the adult hair to come in completely? Anyone know? |
