We are in RI - the area here is incredibly high risk for Lyme as well. Deer ticks can be carried by mice which tend to be around here even if deer arent in the cities.

The good news is that not everyone gets Lyme - We've never had it and neither have our dogs. We do not vaccinate for Lyme.

A coworker's Pug has Lyme - she had the lyme vaccine and is on flea and tick prevention. She is being treated with doxycycline for 6 weeks. She is doing better.

I sure hope Daisy get's better soon! I know you were already worried about her crystals!!
