That is so sad. I felt this way after my Pom became pregnant. She got out and had a romantic meeting with the chi that lives in back of us. She was only 4 bls if that. I was so worried about her but she had her puppies just fine. Thank God!!! 4 of them. The first thing I did was wait till the pups were old enough and let her milk dry up to take her in to get fixed. She is now living out her days with a very nice elderly woman who spoils her rotten.
