Yes but they have very long hair and when people are allergic to cats it's usually due to the dander which comes from their bacteria in their mouth. it gets spread onto the coat when the cat licks itself and considering persians are long coated and need to be brushed almost daily to prevent tangles, I don't think that they would necessarily be the best cat to get. Sorry.
